Idk about Kurt being with Dave just for the physical attraction. He did describe it in different words as just like before but with kissing. Dave is his best friend now. He just happenes to get to make out with him when he wants. And oogle him without feeling awkward like before they started dating. I think this conversation just happens to focus on the physical because it's girlfriends gossiping. *shrugs*
